Mumbai · websites, payments, automation

I build the systems Mumbai's institutions actually run on.

Payment portals, member websites, fee automation — for gymkhanas, housing societies, schools and small businesses. Every one of them battle-tested on my own business first.

Case study

A 100-year-old institution, online.

Dadar Parsee Colony Gymkhana has been part of the colony for a century — and had no real web presence. I proposed, designed and shipped dpcg.club: a website the committee actually approved, and members actually use.

More work

Systems in production, not prototypes.

Each one is either running a real business today or becoming a product because it kept getting rebuilt for clients.

BBA Sports — Automation Hub & Fee Portal

Full fee-management and payments infrastructure for a live, multi-centre business.

Believers Badminton Academy is my own company — 1,200+ students trained, 400+ active across five Mumbai centres. I built its entire technical backbone: a public fee payment page with student autocomplete and UPI payment, automatic invoice generation, Firebase-synced records, and role-based access for coaches and ops staff. It is not a demo. It collects real fees every month.

A product, not a project

In development

Pakka

Offline-first billing software for Indian retail — built for shops where the internet isn't reliable.

Everything I learned building payment and invoicing systems three times over — for the academy, for clients — is becoming a standalone product. Pakka is billing software for small Indian retailers: works offline, syncs when it can, and doesn't assume the shopkeeper has an IT department.

Small business, real retainer

Gemini Home Video — Invoicing Tool

A custom invoicing tool for a Mumbai business, maintained on an ongoing retainer.

A focused build for a local business outside the sports and institutional world: an invoicing tool that fits how they actually bill, not how accounting software thinks they should. They keep me on a maintenance retainer — which is the strongest kind of client feedback there is.

This is the kind of thing I build.

A tiny, live version of the invoicing systems running at BBA Sports and Gemini Home Video. Type below — the invoice updates as you go. No backend, all in your browser.

The production versions add student autocomplete, UPI deep-link payment, PDF export and automatic reminders.

Not just built for institutions — sold to them

I've sat across the table from the committee.

Most developers have never pitched a school principal or a gymkhana managing committee. I have — with written, specific proposals, in person. That's the difference between understanding institutions and just building websites.

About

Founder first, developer second.

I'm Prathamesh — an electrical engineer from VJTI Mumbai. By day (July 2025–July 2026) I worked as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Jio World Centre, BKC, on large-scale facility engineering. In parallel, I founded and run BBA Sports — Believers Badminton Academy — a real multi-centre business with 1,200+ students trained and 400+ active across five Mumbai locations.

Running BBA meant I had to build everything myself: the fee portal, the invoicing, the UPI payments, the multi-role access for coaches and ops staff. Nothing I offer a client is something I haven't already needed, built, and lived with in my own P&L.

That work opened doors most developers never get: gymkhanas, schools, housing societies, colonies. I've written proposals for them, pitched their committees, and shipped for them. prathmakes.in is the front door for the next one.
